Mid Shore Home specializes in providing professional and reliable home watch services for private residential homes and estates in Talbot, Dorchester and Queen Anne counties on the Maryland Eastern Shore. We offer basic to comprehensive home watch services to meet your specific needs.

Basic Service

Our Basic Service provides the perfect "Eyes and Ears," solution while you're away. Our team of experienced professionals will carry out a thorough visual inspection, security check, climate control check, plumbing check, and lighting check to keep your property in tip-top shape.

Visits can be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly or monthly depending on your needs.

Exterior Inspection

From your mailbox to the chimney cap, we'll do a visual review of your property on each visit. And alert you in real time to issues we find.

Plumbing inspection, leaky pipe, home watch, home sitting

Interior Plumbing Inspection

On each visit, we'll check your outdoor spigots, sinks, toilets, tubs and showers for visual leaks and mold.

Electrical Inspection

During our visits, we check your electrical panel and perform a thermal scan for tripped and over heating breakers.

Security check, locked window, home watch, house sitting

Door & Window Security Check

The security of your home is a priority, we check all exterior doors and windows to ensure they're locked.

HVAC Check

We confirm your HVAC system is operating properly and within your preferred temperature range.

Key Service

We can keep an extra set of keys for you should you forget yours or need us provide them to a guest or contractor..

Lighting

We'll check all exterior lights and interior lights on timers to ensure proper operation.

A la Carte Additional Services

Our basic service is designed to help you sleep at night and feel confident your property is being watched over while you're away. Our a la carte services take that one step further, helping you manage your property and keep it in tip top condition. All so you can enjoy your time on the 'Shore and not worry about maintenance issues during your vacation.

Furnace Filter Replacement

Once a quarter we replace furnace filters to help reduce stress on your HVAC system.

Water Filter Replacement

Per your specifications, we replace your reverse osmosis water filters and refrigerator filters.

Smoke Alarm Checks

During our visits, we check your smoke alarms to ensure proper operation.

Landscaping/Lawncare

Our landscaping services include weeding and watering plants. For larger jobs, we have a great local company we recommend.

Handyman Work

We offer basic repair work and can recommend local vendors upon request for larger jobs.

Dock and Boat Inspection

With this added service, we'll check you dock and boat to make sure they're secure. We'll also check bilge pumps and trickle chargers.

Storm Prep & Clean Up

We're weather fanatics. If a storm is headed our way, we'll give you a heads up and help prepare your property and clean up.

Parcel Service

Got a package being delivered but you won't be there to receive it? No problem, we can assist!

Power Washing

Our 3300 PSI Simpson power washer can pretty much handle any cleaning job out there. We specialize in revitalizing lawn furniture, decks and sidewalks.

Contractor & Guest Management

If you have a contractor or a guest coming out that needs direction or welcoming, we can help!

Alarm Response

To be clear, Mid Shore Home is not a security company, but we can respond to tripped alarms with local law enforcement.

Seasonal Prep

We can assist with getting your property closed up or ready for the upcoming season. Just shoot us a note with your request.

Property Visits

Property visits can be scheduled weekly (4-5 times per month) or bi-weekly (twice a month). One-off visits can also be requested for special requests or emergency calls.

Pricing

One size does not fit all when it comes to Home Watch. Every property is different, and owners have different needs. For these reasons, we do not quote rates without an in-person review of the property. Owners need not be present for the initial walk around, although we may request a FaceTime call during the visit to make sure we're addressing all your needs and expectations. The initial walk around fee is $35.00, if you contract for services with Mid Shore Home, the $35 fee will be credited to your first invoice.

Reporting

After each property visit, you will receive a custom inspection report. Our reports are highly detailed and specific to your property. As we like to say, this report will serve as your "Eyes and Ears on the Eastern Shore." For any anomalies or concerns we identify, we'll reach out to you immediately for guidance.
